Note Making Tool

Effective note making is essential in the learning process as it helps the individual to remember and identify the key details of the material without having to re read the entire chapter. Our NoteMaker, a note making tool built entirely on Java helps the student to take down notes in a concise and precise manner.

     The NoteMaker consists of four areas to be filled in by the student during his course. The Notes section allows the student to take down notes during the lecture in class. When reviewing for the second time, the student is given the option to pen down the key words in the KeyWords column from the text that highlights the details of the material. Upon the third reflection, the student now having sufficient understanding about the topic can write his views and ideas or to say his understanding about the subject in the Remarks column. Finally, the Summary section in the bottom is to be filled for the last revision. In times of doubt the student can select a particular keyword to refer to text pertaining to that keyword.  The NoteMaker also gives the option of viewing summaries from all topics and chapters for a quick scan on the course just before the exams. For beginners, the Help option would guide on how to start off with.

    The NoteMaker is very easy to use and very effective. It is a boon for all those who find the whole process of note making prosaic and monotonous.
